In ABBYY Flexicapture, if you are unable to complete a task and you would like to park it/assign it to yourself to be processed at a future stage, you can use the Postponed tasks feature. are tasks whose processing was started by a user but was not completed.
A user can postpone a task by clicking the 
button in the task toolbar.
Note: When you postpone a task, others will not be able to take your task.
You can access this queue from the main Verification queue screen at the top left.
