The solution will continuously monitor the Inbox folder.
If the import process was successful, the email will be moved to the Processed folder.
If you ever need to trace a document in ABBYY FlexiCapture or RapidAP back to the original email, it can be found in the Processed folder.
No emails will be automatically deleted from that folder, and therefore it will need maintenance to prevent the mailbox from reaching capacity.
If the import process was unsuccessful, the email will be moved to the Exceptions folder. The folder will need to be monitored on a regular basis for any emails that require manual intervention.
In most cases, emails in the Exception folder will be without attachments (e.g. out-of-office notifications, internal newsletters, a link to retrieve the invoice, etc.).
If there is however an attachment present, it means the format is not supported by ABBYY FlexiCapture.
If this occurs, the attachment will need to be manually opened and either saved to a valid format or printed and scanned, before sending it to the mailbox for processing.
